Australia – Visiting Gold Coast
Australia’s unique attractions, impressive geographically distinctive regions and natural settings have always been the country’s greatest appeal. Whether you go to the south or to the northern region of the country, there is a lot to see, do, and enjoy here. Australia offers a wide range of both natural and manmade attractions ranging from some world-famous parks, tropical rainforests, and gorgeous beaches, to theme parks and museums. Not only do these attractions keep you busy all through your holidays, but also offer you an opportunity to experience something new.
Exploring The Gold Coast
On my last visit to Sydney and Melbourne for family functions, I had a chance to really explore the country. Though my tight schedule didn’t allow me to explore the entire nation during my three-week-long vacation, I did visit quite a few popular tourist destinations in Australia. However, visiting Gold Coast in Queensland was the highlight of my vacation.
Hitting The Beach
Gold Coast’s enticing beaches, gorgeous provinces, and breathtaking hinterland are something that no one can afford to miss- it’s no wonder Gold Coast is regarded as the number 1 vacation destination for visitors of all ages. The city is flocked with hundreds of visitors every summer. This is because Gold Coast has everything for a perfect vacation, including theme parks, casinos, family entertainment venues, nature spots, and beaches. The city stays balmy and sunny all year round. Therefore, you can plan visiting Gold Coast anytime you want.
Exploring Manmade Attractions
Even though the manmade attractions in Gold Coast are the main highlights, the real allure actually lies in its unspoiled hinterland. Go exploring in the breathtaking rainforest of Gold Coast that features remnants of tropical flora. Bird lovers will surely be pleased as this is where they can witness a bright crimson rosella bird in its natural habitat. The Gold Coast hinterland is home to hundreds of native plants including many alien-like booyang trees. This natural setting offers a safe refuge for several Aussie wildlife and birds. Include a visit to the Lamington National Park and Mt Tamborine in your first week itinerary of Gold Coast.
A visit to Gold Coast cannot be complete without exploring its beaches and theme parks. Choices of theme parks include the Movie World, Sea World, Adventure Parc, Tropical Dreamworld, and the Wet n Wild water park. In addition, there are a number of small adventure and family-friendly amusement parks in Gold Coast. Enjoy any of those jaw-dropping rides and experience the thrill of zero-gravity. Spend some hours at the zoo and enjoy the unique experience of holding a cuddly koala bear. I am sure that you will enjoy posing for some clicks with these interesting Aussie animals. Spend the night at the Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise area for experiencing the true Gold Coast nightlife.
